Congratulations to Auckland artist Lang Ea and Taranaki artist Rohan Wealleans, joint recipients of the highly coveted Premier Award.
Lang’s winning piece, Negotiation, is a striking work crafted from stainless steel, while Rohan’s Orrery (Blue) is a dynamic assemblage of paint on found objects.
The award-winning works were selected by judges Hamish McKay, esteemed art dealer, and contemporary jeweller Karl Fritsch.
